ALU Conferment Information
The Academy of Life Underwriting confers designations and issues diplomas four times each year. Students who have completed all requirements for an ALU Certificate or Diploma must complete and submit a Request For Diploma form to the ALU Administration Office at least two weeks prior to a Conferment Date in order to have the certificate or diploma issued on that date. Once issued, certificates and diplomas will be shipped to students via USPS Priority Mail in the U.S., via FedEx International to other locations, within two weeks of the issue date.

Students who have received the Fellow, Academy of Life Underwriting (FALU) designation and diploma during this period will be invited to attend the Association of Home Office Underwriters (AHOU) Annual Conference early in the following year or the Canadian Institute of Underwriters (CIU), where this significant accomplishment will be recognized.
