STUDENT INFORMATION

For Students who will write the ALU exams in their company office

The Academy of Life Underwriting will offer ALU examinations in April of each year: ALU101, ALU201, ALU202, ALU301, MRAP-1 and MRAP-2. The registration period for all ALU examinations opens in September, and exam registrations will be accepted through early March of the exam year. Exam registrations submitted February 2 – March 1 of the exam year require payment of a late registration fee in addition to the regular exam fee.

There are no prerequisites for ALU exam registration, but ALU exams must be written in order. There is no prerequisite for registering for the MRAP-1 exam. Students may register for and write one ALU exam during an exam cycle.

Individual students will write the ALU exams in their company office.  Please go to the Exam Registration page to obtain registration forms.

Remote students are those who work far from a company office and must arrange to write an ALU exam at a remote exam site. Please click HERE for more information about Remote Student exam registration.

The textbooks required for ALU exams may be purchased through the website.  Please click HERE to visit the ALU Store.

Important: Please note that the Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology 7th or 8th edition textbook is no longer available from the ALU.  It may be purchased from an online bookseller such as Amazon.com of the publisher.
